AIMS AC Converter / Battery Charger 36V & 48V Smart Charger 25/18 Amps – Large Charging Capacity


Not all charging applications and batteries are the same. Instead of managing multiple devices, the AIMS AC 36V and 48V Converter/Battery Charger strives toward a versatile, multipurpose solution that anticipates what you need at home but also suits various recreational activities where you’ll want solar power.

This converter/battery charger accommodates open lead acid, gel, AGM and LiFePO4 batteries, while a consistent, high-frequency structure handles a greater spectrum of input voltages, from 70VAC to 145VAC. This aspect allows the converter/charger to adapt to unstable inputs. Furthermore, the device automatically senses 36VDC and 48VDC battery banks, providing a more intuitive solution within your solar power setup.

Once you have everything connected, a 25-amp 36V/18.75-amp 48V capacity isn’t just large – it lets you charge up a battery relatively quickly.

Input Over VoltageUnit is safe for input voltage up to 150VacRMS (and up to 215Vpeak). Above this level the damage may occur.

Charger over temperature protectionThe internal temperatures of the charger will be measured by NTC. Based on these measurements, unit will shut down if the temperature exceeds 105°C. Unit will restart when environment temperature cools to 95 °C.
BTS(Battery Temperature Sensing)The battery temperature sensor allows the charger to continuously adjust charge voltage / charge current based on actual battery temperature.
When the battery temperature is over 40 °C, unit will reduce the charging voltage to Float voltage, also it will reduce the Max charging current by 10% with every two degree of temperature rise. (different for lithium)
When the battery temperature is over 50 °C, unit will shut down.
